Originally from Portland, Oregon, Dave started his career in 2004 after graduating from the Berklee College of Music in Boston. He moved to New York to work at the famous Hit Factory recording studio, working with top notch artists such as Rob Thomas, Destiny's Child, Coldplay, Lil' Kim and others. He served as engineer to Seven Aurelius, producer for such artists as Mariah Carey, LL Cool J, Ashanti, and Ja Rule.

The Hit Factory closed it's doors in 2005, and seeing the writing on the wall for the music industry, Dave focused his attention on audio-post.
